System architecture

Optimizer+ was developed with Microsoft Visual Basic, C++ and C# and uses the Microsoft .NET framework. Optimizer+ is a client-server application with a three-layer architecture composed of a GUI-, application logic- and data service- layer. The package includes a large number of standard and user- reports developed in Crystal Reports by Business Objects.

The database is Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and MSDE. The package is very stable, can handle large numbers, runs on standard technical infrastructure, and is user friendly. Of course, Optimizer+ comes with good access security in the standard version. The most recent version of the software source code is always held in escrow by a registered notary in order to guarantee operational continuity for all users.
