Hosting

You have the option of using Optimizer+ via a hosting environment, in which case the software runs on a central server maintained by our hosting partner. The database(s) is (are) also located in the same location. Users access the software via the Internet.

This option offers a great many advantages including:

• Users have great flexibility in using Optimizer+. They can do so wherever an Internet connection with sufficient bandwidth is present, for example at several locations or from the home.
• Installation, updates and database management can all be carried out much more simply and effectively, leading to reduced costs in this area. These activities are included in the price and taken care of by MaintControl. If they are carried out by your own IT department or outsourced elsewhere, it will definitely cost several days a year. The management/administration of Optimizer+ also depends upon internal safety regulations, standards and procedures.
• The system manager can respond much more quickly, and the time needed to resolve some issues (malfunctions, updates etc.) can be significantly reduced.
• Support can be provided much more simply and effectively, as the data can be accessed easily and quickly - of course only after consultation and authorisation.
• No more internal problems caused by external software being placed on the in-house network or problems with the database standard.
